England beat Pakistan to become World T20 champions

A few moments ago, the England team managed to win the T20 world championship held today in Melbourne, Australia.

England won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. At the end of their 20 overs, the Pakistan team scored 137 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. Entering the field to chase down a winning target of 138 runs, the England team became the T20 World Champions by scoring 138 runs in 19 overs with the loss of only 5 wickets.

Shan Masood scored 38 runs for the Pakistan team and captain Babar Azam scored 32 runs. Sam Curran took 3 wickets while bowling.

Ben Stokes scored an unbeaten 51 for England and captain Jos Buttler scored 26.
